Captured on your Mac
Sussur takes system audio straight from the machine, so Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and a phone call on speaker all work the same way. There is no meeting bot and no per-platform integration to set up.

Transcribed on your Mac
Speech-to-text runs locally on Apple Silicon. Your audio and video never leave the device, and no recording is uploaded — not temporarily, not to an encrypted bucket, not for a retention window.

Coached on your own API key
To write the coaching, the transcript text goes to the model you chose, through an OpenRouter key you supply and control. We are not in the middle of that request and there is no account here to hold one.

Or offline, on Ollama
Point Sussur at a model running under Ollama on the same Mac and the coaching step stays on the machine too. Slower and only as good as the model you run — but nothing leaves at all.
Privacy
The four things we don't do.
Anyone can list what a product promises. This is the list of what it refuses, which is the one that costs something.
No camera read of anyone's face
Sussur does not infer emotion from faces, expressions, or tone of voice — not yours and not the other person's. The coaching is drawn from what was said, as text.
No training on your calls
Your conversations are not used to train third-party AI models and are not sold to advertisers. The transcript text that leaves does one job — generating your coaching — and that is the whole of it.
No transcripts in our cloud
Transcripts and contact memory live in local storage on your Mac. Transcript text is sent to generate coaching; it is not kept by us as your archive.
No hiding it from the room
Sussur is a panel on your screen and no bot joins the meeting. We do not build a mode whose purpose is to conceal it from the person across the table, and we won't — coaching you is the product.

Sussur is a Mac app, free while it is in development. Apple Silicon is a hard requirement, not a preference — speech-to-text runs on the machine, and that is what makes it possible.
