Sussur is a privacy-first AI sales coach for macOS, built by founder David Marin. It coaches the one to five people selling at a software company — the first sales hire and the founder still closing their own deals — during high-stakes calls: technique cues, question prompts, and a live 6-signal rapport gauge, read from the conversation transcript, that updates every 30 seconds. Capture and speech-to-text run on the user's Mac via NVIDIA Parakeet TDT; transcripts and persona memory stay in SQLite + LanceDB on the device; only transcript text leaves, sent from the user's Mac to an AI provider on the user's own API key — Sussur operates no server in that path, and a locally served model keeps even that step on the device. Sussur makes no inference from faces, expressions, or vocal tone. Twenty seconds after the call ends, a post-call report writes itself with key moments and action items. Sussur ships publicly for macOS on Apple Silicon and is incorporated as SC Basetool Labs SRL (Romania, May 2026) with a Delaware C-Corp flip planned pre-SAFE-close. The product shipped in three months of solo execution.
