When to use a coaching suggestion during a call
A live coaching suggestion is useful when it helps you ask a question you were about to miss. It is less useful when reading it pulls your attention away from the person speaking.
Sussur generates suggestions from the conversation transcript and available context. You still choose whether a suggestion fits.
Listen before responding
Let the other person finish their thought. A prompt about pricing may arrive while they are explaining a budget concern. Read it as an option, then decide whether to ask a question, answer directly, or leave it aside.
Check the premise
Transcription and AI suggestions can be wrong. If a card assumes a decision has been made, compare that with what you actually heard. Do not repeat an invented fact just because it appeared on screen.
Make the words your own
For example, a fictional prompt might say: “Ask who else will review the proposal.” In your conversation, “Who would you like involved in the next call?” may sound more natural. The useful part is remembering to ask.
Review after the call
Live coaching and later review serve different purposes. During the call, you need a short next step. Afterwards, you have time to examine the conversation and prepare a follow-up.
