Managing Your Data

Your Sussur data lives on your Mac, and you're in control of all of it.

Where your files live#

Sussur stores everything in your Mac's Application Support folder: the local database (contacts, sessions, transcripts, costs), any recordings and screen captures, and automatic backups.

Back up & restore#

Sussur automatically backs up its database on a schedule and keeps recent copies. If the app ever detects a problem on launch, it offers to restore from the latest backup.

Export#

You can export your data in open formats:

• Reports — Markdown, JSON, or PDF.
• Cost history & contacts — CSV.

Delete#

• Use Sussur's delete-all option to wipe your data from inside the app.
• To remove Sussur entirely, quit the app, drag it from Applications to the Trash, and delete its Application Support folder.
