If reading cards mid-call pulls your focus, Sussur can speak suggestions to you instead.

How it works

Turn on audio coaching in Settings and Sussur reads the most important suggestions aloud, quietly. By default it speaks into your left ear, leaving your right ear on the conversation.

Choose a voice

Built-in (macOS) — uses your Mac's system voice. Free and fully on-device.
OpenAI — a more natural voice. Requires an OpenAI key and sends only the suggestion text for speech.

Note

Sussur won't transcribe its own spoken coaching as if it were the other person — a playback gate keeps your transcript clean.

When to use it

Audio coaching shines on calls where you're sharing your screen or presenting and can't glance at the overlay. For quieter one-on-ones, the visual cards are often enough.
